Evidence-Based Repurposed Medications for Breast Cancer Treatment
- Mebendazole, traditionally used to treat infections caused by parasites. Has shown potential in reducing tumor growth, preventing cancer spread, and overcoming chemotherapy resistance.
- Statins, commonly prescribed to lower cholesterol levels. Have demonstrated effectiveness in killing breast cancer cells, reducing their growth, and increasing sensitivity to standard treatments like chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
