Are there foods that can raise potassium levels? 

I've been advised to increase my potassium intake due to low levels. Could you recommend some specific foods that are good sources of potassium to help raise my levels naturally?

Yes! Here are some potassium rich foods:

  1.  Dried Apricots - One cup contains around 1,500 mg of potassium
  2.  Potatoes - A large baked potato with skin provides around 1,600 mg of potassium
  3.  Sweet Potatoes - One large sweet potato contains around 1,100 mg of potassium
  4.  Tomato Puree/Paste - 1/4 cup of tomato paste has around 670 mg of potassium
  5.  Beans - Kidney beans, white beans, lima beans are excellent sources with around 600-700 mg per cup
  6.  Lentils - 1/2 cup of lentils provides around 365 mg of potassium
  7.  Yogurt - One cup of plain yogurt contains around 580 mg of potassium
  8.  Salmon and Other Fish - A 3 oz serving of salmon has around 530 mg of potassium
