Can fenbendazole treat cancer as serious as brain cancer?

I've read some claims about fenbendazole being used to treat various cancers, including brain cancer. Is there any credible scientific evidence supporting its effectiveness for such a serious condition? How does it compare to conventional treatments for brain cancer?

Researchers first noticed the potential of fenbendazole, a drug typically used to treat pinworm infections, during routine animal studies. It was observed by chance that the drug inhibited the development of brain tumors in mice.

The discovery occurred when an animal facility began using fenbendazole-infused food to treat mice for pinworm infections.

Researchers then observed that one of their consistent brain tumor models no longer formed tumors after the introduction of fenbendazole, whereas tumors had reliably developed before the treatment.

This unexpected finding sparked further studies into other benzimidazole drugs, such as fenbendazole, thiabendazole, mebendazole, and albendazole, for their potential anti-cancer properties.

Most research has focused on Mebendazole. Mebendazole has shown promising results in preclinical studies, particularly in glioblastoma treatment, where it extended survival in animal models by up to 63%.

If you’re considering using a benzimidazole drug, it is best to discuss with an integrative oncology professional to individualize the protocol for your needs.
