Is fenbendazole bad for your kidneys?

The most common side effects of fenbendazole are stomach upset, diarrhea, and an increase in liver enzymes.  

Fenbendazole is primarily used as an anthelmintic, meaning it's used to treat infections caused by parasites, such as worms, in animals. It is in the drug class of benzimidazoles, which includes the very similar medication mebendazole, increasingly prescribed by integrative doctors for humans.
