About St.George Hospital

St. Georg Clinic: Integrative Biological Cancer Therapy & Lyme Disease Treatment

Holistic Cancer Therapy Concept:
At St. George clinic (Klinik St. Georg), we champion an integrative approach to cancer treatment. We aim to optimize conventional methods like surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation by complementing them with holistic procedures. Diagnosing cancer can be daunting, and our mission is to provide a comprehensive, patient-centered approach that considers the disease’s systemic nature.

We understand that treating the tumor is just one aspect; addressing the root causes and systemic failures is paramount. This includes supporting the immune system, the hormonal system, and understanding the role of diet, environment, and genetics.

Biological Cancer Therapy:
Our approach revolves around therapies that leverage natural substances or methods and prioritize:
– Strengthening the healthy parts of the organism.
– Eliminating deficiencies.
– Regulating immune and hormonal functions.
– Restoring homeostasis.

Nutrition:
A balanced diet plays a critical role in both preventing and treating cancer. We emphasize the importance of reducing quickly absorbed carbohydrates, decreasing red meat intake, increasing omega-3 fatty acids, and maintaining a high fiber content, among other nutritional guidelines.

Lyme Disease Center at St. Georg Clinic:

We offer specialized treatments for chronic Lyme disease, with a core focus on whole-body hyperthermia.

The Power of Hyperthermia:
Hyperthermia, having its roots in tumor treatment, has proven to be an effective weapon against the Borrelia bacterium. By maintaining body temperatures above 41.6°C, we target the heat-sensitive Borrelia and supercharge the body’s immune response.

Our Approach:
1. Borrelia burgdorferi, the causative agent of Lyme disease, succumbs to temperatures of 41.6°C.
2. Elevated temperatures activate macrophages, strengthening the body’s defense mechanism against Borrelia.

Safety and Precautions:
While potent, hyperthermia does have its precautions. However, with over 18,000 treatments and a success rate of more than 98%, side effects are minimal.

Our Track Record:
We’ve treated over 800 chronic Lyme disease patients successfully. Our comprehensive approach focuses not only on eradicating Borrelia but also on detoxification, addressing endocrine disorders, and ensuring patients’ long-term well-being.

I attended the Klinic for whole body Hyperthermie about 18 months ago. Unfortunately, I was severely burnt due to their negligence. It took a year for me to stop having pain and oozing, with ongoing possible infection, as an ongoing consequence. I travelled regularly to London, a day's trip away for 10 pass Ozone, to help with the above symptoms, and to assist healing. I travelled out of the UK for further treatments to assist the healing. It is only now, 18 months on that I no longer have a scab, though I am still badly scarred. I have contacted the owners of the Clinic, the Dowes family on occasions to support with the costs of above, and I am completely ignored by the Dowes family specifically. I went to the Klinic originally because of chronic poor health, and am treated in such a manner, which shows me this is a company not interested at all in your care and well-being. Very disappointing, to realise that this is company based on greed, not on true care and healing.

No doubt, you're reading the reviews considering if you should make the decision to book into the clinic. And like most of us, you're weighing up the cost and the actual treatment effectiveness, is it worth it. I don't think you're going to find another place anywhere in the world like St George Clinic, especially with the success rate. They know how to treat Borellia, co-infections, cancer and they are the best at it, many high profile and celebrities come through. I left my family for 5 weeks and traveled extensively to get there and In my time at St George (which went so fast), i witnessed amazing results with people, including myself. Peoples health was turning around and making a recovery, obviously there's at home recovery time too. I met one lady who was bringing all her family members back as she testified how she is cured with zero symptoms from Borellia and co-infections. There is no guarantees in life, but this place is the closest you'll find to one. My only regret was i hesitated for a year. Money is replaceable, time is precious, my advice to all is, if you are unwell, get to this place as quick as possible and start restoring your life to recovery. Heavy, long term Antibiotics is a tempting quick and cheaper option, but not the best at all. At this clinic you will be loved, supported and encouraged, ive never experienced anything like it. Its an unusual feeling to leave a clinic you know your going to miss. I was expecting a hospital with below grade food, its actually like a bed and breakfast hotel and the food is surprisingly very good and healthy, all dietary requirements all sorted. The moment you walk in, there is nothing more you need to worry about, they take over and your schedule is all set. One place with all the specialists under one roof, everything you need and they guide you all the way through. One aspect that was very obvious is these people actually want you well, Its felt in everything they do. Highly recommended.
The Klinik and the staff have saved my daughter’s life! They truly are Gods hands and feet. If you have Lyme disease this is the number one place in the world to get care. Don’t hesitate, they are the best! I think every single one of them that I spoke with at any length told me they would pray for my daughter and me. I feel so blessed they exist! Mike Niederhuber is their patient liaison. He is probably one of the hardest working humans I’ve ever met. So patient and kind with all the patients. So mature for his age! He helped us two years ago when we were there for our first treatment and when my daughter had to repeat a second round last month he was still there. I was relieved!! He handles problems for patients and their parents efficiently and with such a comforting heart. They are so blessed to have him. He is bi-lingual and self taught English and speaks German. If you need his assistance, he is the best! He was working sun up to sun down many days. I would see him at 9 am and leaving at 9:30 at night. Please give that boy a promotion! He’s fabulous. Natalie was my daughter’s nurse on the second floor. An amazing nurse from Australia who has global military experience in nursing, speaks multiple languages and probably the most focused nurse I have ever encountered in my life! She gets to the heart of the matter to help solve whatever you need effectively and efficiently! She doesn’t waste time. She is direct and I was grateful for that approach. Kindest heart and very thorough. We felt very safe with her. An incredible problem solver, gets the job done even if she has to stay late, which I saw many times. My daughter only wanted her. She would go down and hug her before she had her apheresis to make sure she was okay. She goes above and beyond what a normal nurse would do. She helped a lady next to us who was alone and older and terrified. She handled a very delicate situation with courage and guts. She’s just one rare talent. I feel so blessed she was assigned to us! She even got my daughter a necklace with an owl on it before we left as a gift. Never lose her, she is such an asset! Dr. Zabel… what can I say about this amazing human. So much! She is so incredible at what she does. There aren’t enough words for this fierce little dynamo doctor! Incredibly knowledgeable and even came in on Saturday morning, her day off for my daughter to make sure she had everything she needed before we left the hospital. She knows about hormones and how Lyme messes with the body and is so smart. I am so grateful for her in my daughter’s life! Dr. Rosner…. Incredibly intelligent and caring about making sure the patient isn’t stressed and the Moms are taken care of. Kind soul to the core and also knows Lyme treatment protocol like no other. Trust him, he knows what he’s doing as well! Dr. Beoq…wow what a brilliant man. Psychologist and a physician. Sees both sides of the coin. Very giving of his time to his patients and knowledge. Dr. Julian Dowes… son of the founder and also had Lyme himself. Extremely personable, he is moving mountains with his family to bring the chronic Lyme disease epidemic to the forefront of care. Christine… our daily cleaning lady. Hugged me and my daughter, kissed us when we were sad. Made animals/bows out of towels just to brighten our day. She is special, one I will never forget. Dr. Sergio, felt safe with him! Great care! Irena…our first nurse we ever had from the Ukraine, the best term to describe her is… angelic. Probably one of the sweetest souls on the planet. Susie… another nurse who helped us both visits, she is tough as nails and works so hard, hugged us so hard when we left. Daniella…. Who gave Isabella her foot bath and papimi, blue light etc…treatments Tireless affection towards parents and patients. Frederika, who answered all my million questions happily on the phone before we arrived the first time. Sylvia in reception, was helpful when I had questions about things in Bad Aibling. Yasmine, in the dining hall, warm smile hello daily. Grateful to you all. Love, Stephanie & Isabella Maleno

I went to KSG 9 months ago for treatment for chronic Lyme. We joined the Facebook group someone started for those considering KSG and that was invaluable for knowing what to expect. My distressing neurological symptoms were resolved after the first hyperthermia....no more feeling like I was floating out of my body, balance issues gone, brain fog gone. I could think with crystal clarity for the first time in years!! The most debilitating symptom overall for me was extreme fatigue...the kind where you can hardly move because your arms and legs are so heavy and every muscle and joint aches. Shortly after hyperthermia, I had a feeling of energy for the first time in years and that steadily increased over the next 3 months until I was functioning with the energy of a child!! It was truly my miracle! My little kids were in awe that their mom could do many things! 😭 Thank you, KSG!! My husband came with me which was a lifesaver! He could push me in the wheelchair whenever I was too weak/exhausted to walk. He could bring me food in bed when I needed it and was emotional support when the therapies felt overwhelming. I have nothing but good to say about what they offer for treatment. The nurses were kind and especially Dr. Rößner was very encouraging and helpful. Something I have observed in being there and since then is that those who went expecting to be catered to were sadly disappointed and frustrated. But if you go with the mentality of graciously being your own advocate (i.e. NOT from a place of bullying the staff when something gets missed or there's a miscommunication) you'll do great navigating it! The language barrier can cause misunderstandings so we were just patient but persistent when we wanted or needed something and we were met with kindness. There is a shortage of nursing staff and a shortage in admin so things like getting an email back promptly can be frustrating. We had to wait 4 months to get the CPT codes for our insurance and only got them then with lots of emailing to keep requesting them. But the staff are ALL good hearted. They're just overworked!! The other thing to understand is the German culture is so different than what those of us from the US are accustomed to. There's a stoicism about their culture that can read as uncaring if you don't understand. I feel fortunate to have grown up in a German micro culture here in the US and was able to recognize it for what it was and not personalize that. So would I recommend it? YES! But do your research, know what to expect going in, be patient with the language and culture differences, and be patiently persistent. Take comfort items to help regulate your nervous system. It makes such a difference!! And also know that everyone's body responds differently. I had done a year of intense holistic treatments before ever going and I feel like that contributed greatly to how quickly my body responded.

I stayed in Bad Aibling for six weeks due to Long Covid and they couldn’t help me. My doctor was Dr. J… They told me on the phone that 85% of their patients would feel much better after their stay. This was an absolute lie! Out of all the patients I was in contact with over six weeks, only a very few felt a little better, but not even that much. Based on my experience, I really can’t recommend you to go there as a Long Covid Patient! Here are the pros and cons of the clinic: Pros: - The food is okay to good, depending on the day. It could be healthier, but for a clinic, the food is acceptable. - Most of the staff is really nice, except for Mrs. H., who is responsible for distributing the rooms. She is very rude. - Bad Aibling is a lovely town, and the park next to the clinic is beautiful for a relaxed walk. Cons: - The organization in the clinic is an absolute mess and it made not only me BUT ALL OF THE PATIENTS very upset and desperate. The treatments I've undergone in six weeks could have been done in three weeks. And yes, this is very convenient for them because you will pay around $10,000 per week. - If you don’t make your own appointments (which you are actually not supposed to do but you don’t have another choice) and run after the doctors all the time, they will forget you, and your stay will be even longer and more expensive. - Dr. J. is one of the reasons why it is so crazily disorganized. She is overstressed all the time, so she doesn’t have time for her patients. There were weeks when she didn't visit my room for four days. There were so many times where we (the patients) were looking for her in the hospital and trying to ask her when she will come to our room because we haven’t seen her for days. When we were finally able to talk to her, she would tell us that she will come at a certain time to our room. Guess what, most of the time we waited for hours, and she didn’t come. - The clinic is not barrier-free. For example, people in wheelchairs can’t go to the dining room because of the stairs. - The weekly plan for the treatments is made by a person behind a desk and not your personal doctors. In my case, this led to the wrong treatments or unnecessary ones. - People from abroad will be charged around $10,000 a week. German patients pay a lot less. For example, the HELP apheresis costs a foreign person $2,800 while a German patient pays "only" $1,500. The clinic, recently sold to an investment group, takes advantage of ill people and can’t even present good therapy results for the majority of the patients.

I was a lyme disease patient, I stayed for six weeks. The food was excellent and was a lyme disease based diet. I see other complaints here. I don't understand. There knowledge is first class of lyme disease. When starting the schedule it is a very busy morning with appointments every morning. You are advised to bring for emotional support a loved one or friend. It is an intense programme. I cannot find fault with this hospital and I have been to many with my illness. The rooms are private and very comfortable. I had no family to return to after treatment. The hospital doctors made a few different offers for me which would of helped me. This was above and way beyond any normal response. I was given after care options that normally wouldn't of been offered. I cannot fault this hospital. Thank you

I went for Prostate Cancer Laser therapy at the end of June 2021. My cancer was contained within my prostate and my PSA was 5.23 and had been confirmed by an MRI. The treatment did not help in any way and my PSA had risen to 6.80 by December. I had another MRI at the Vitus Clinic in Frankfurt in April 2022, which showed the tumour had grown compared to my 2021 MRI and was very close to bursting out of the prostate capsule. Thankfully they were able to remove the cancer using Nanoknife technology. When I asked St Georg why their treatment had not worked they said per their email of 2 Feb 2022 “The laser therapy was not strong enough”. They knew the size of my cancer before (contained and smallish on the right hand side). If the treatment couldn’t work they should have told me beforehand. Conversely they didn’t do the treatment properly. I wrote to the St Georg again in October last year (2022) asking for reconfirmation of the explanation as to why the laser therapy had not worked at all. Despite phoning and emailing I have not had a reply, which for me says something about their professionalism, or should I say lack of it, and their lack of care and respect for their patients. Lastly, when I went for my Prostate treatment, my wife came with me both to keep me company and to have the Darm(Gut) treatment they recommended following a colectomy she had had some months earlier. The St Georg was also so run down and the food so bad that we moved to the hotel opposite, Das Lindner, which was very nice, to alleviate the terrible conditions as St Georg. So based on my experience, somewhere to avoid.

Nothing could have prepared my friend for the treatment she received at the St George Klinik. The staff were rude and often talked about us in German (my friend Is Australian but can speak German). She fainted once and they did not try to catch her or assist her to fall gently, they just let her drop. Although most of the doctors speak English quite well, communication was a problem. They did not talk through the specifics of what was going to happen to them whilst under sedation, even when asked. She woke up with a catheter in and her gown rearranged. This would have been fine if she was told prior, but it felt like a violation since she wasn’t warned. My friend has bad veins which were hard to cannulate, so a central line (pick line, port line - a line in the chest that runs quite close to the heart for good flow) was agreed to be put in. The doctors installed this line before waiting for anaesthetic to work and did not stop when she asked them to. It was extremely painful and left her feeling very anxious about the rest of the treatment. As an observer this facility, I found it pretty horrendous.

My daughter Rachel and I went to Klinik St Georg September 2021 as she had chronic Lyme disease. Amazing staff and very caring doctors and nurses! The facility is simple but you feel very well treated and monitored. So sad to see some bad reviews, I don’t know where they would get these ideas from! Within 48 hours after her first hypothermia Treatment my daughter had the spark back in her eyes and the love of life again! There were ups and downs but overall She did very well for about six weeks after we got home. She is a complicated case so we will be going back to this clinic again for treatment in the near future. I recommend getting the coinfection’s treated before you go to this clinic as it is more effective on the Lymes disease if you have Control of the coinfection’s first. My brother-in-law went for treatment a year ago and he is back to almost 100%! This treatment truly works for lymes disease But you must follow up with sticking to the diet for it to be effective!

Appalling treatment of my friend who travelled to the clinic to be treated for Lyme Disease. Staff were dismissive and and carried out procedures without consultation and against her wishes. Would definitely not recommend as they do not seem to have any understanding or procedures for dealing with vulnerable people.

This is the first time I am writing a review. I felt compelled to warn people about this place. DO NOT GO THERE. I went there a year ago and have spent the year trying to get a refund for the appalling treatment I had there. But as they do not wish to respond to my emails (there is absolutely no aftercare) then the only thing I can do is warn other people of my experience. Feel free to ask me to email you (if that's possible through these review processes) and I will email you the full account of the terrible experience there.

SCAM !!!! BE CAREFUL WITH THIS KLINIK !!!! THEY AFFIRM FAKE SUCCESS RATE !! AND THEY HAVE A SCAM TREATMENT FOR CO INFECTIONS
My friend with Lyme disease went here. She got emailed by staff members that she had to pay upfront to confirm her reservation. With this same email address she communicated her test results etc. Upon arrival staff claimed they did not receive money and their system got hacked. So she just had two pay twice 30K. She felt better for a while, but unfortunately symptoms came back. Very fishy story and too expensive!!

Patients have been scammed here! Please DO NOT PAY FOR TREATMENT IN ADVANCE. Various patients where in contact with the patients manager via email. after long back and forward contact, the patients decided to book, and where asked to pay online. Upon arrival the clinic denied having received payment and claimed that they where hacked. Various patients paid $30.000 flew from far away countries for these treatments, only to hear their money was gone and they had to pay again. scamming ill people is the worst crime!!!!

This place was a nightmare! I went because I was desperate to get rid of Lyme. But the patient care was non existent, most doctors/staff give different opinions and were rude. After sending a long detailed email of why I was mistreated so badly (left to fall on the floor when I fainted etc etc) I received no reply at all. I also understand German so could understand what staff were saying when they thought I could not. 100% regret going and recommend anyone NOT to go to this place.

My experience at Klinik St. Georg was life-altering to say the least. I arrived with severe neurological chronic Lyme disease which I had lived with for nearly 6 years. The protocol was extremely organized and easy to understand. The staff were generally very kind. Some staff members were extremely affectionate, going above and beyond their call to meet my emotional needs. The treatment was not easy. I traveled alone and would change that in hindsight. My first round of hyperthermia offered instant relief from my muscle pain, muscle spasms, and constant low grade fever. My second hyperthermia treatment did not result in such immediate success, but over time I recovered in the timeframe the doctors projected (4-8 weeks after discharge). The problem was the die off/herxheimer effect—not Lyme. Hyperthermia saved my life. I love the staff at the Klinik with all of my heart. I went from hopeless to healed in a matter of 2 weeks. It’s a surreal experience. I highly recommend the Klinik for Lyme disease. I am 8 months out from treatment and doing spectacularly. I’d go back in a heartbeat if necessary.

Medical Condition Lyme disease and Bartonella

I went to St Georg Klinik in Nov 2023 for of the treatment Lyme and bartonella. The clinic is in a historical building and clean. As a down to earth person, I got treated very well. Even tho the nurses are very busy, they have been helpful to me. The doctors who I came in contact with, are straight forward (which I like), but it would be nice if they had more time for their patients.
A treatment plan is handed out to patients on the first day, so you know where to go and what to expect. And there is room for alternations.
The treatment turned out well for me. I have been sick for a few years. Now I'm home for about 7 weeks and I can walk again and also other muscles slowly regain strength. I am happy with the outcome till sofar, but do realize it's still a long way to recovery. Do I fully recover? I don't know! Time will tell.
Don't give up! If there is a will, there is a way. Stay positive, it will help you heal!

Medical Condition Systemic lymes disease

My name is Kieran Lineen from Waterford in Ireland. I was diagnosed in 2004 with Lyme's ( having been told originally in 1995 I had M.E.)and again 13 months ago with tickplex plus test from the armin labs, and had a Lyme's carditis heart attack in 2021
I have had Lyme's disease for 30 years, and was told for the first ten years it was M.E.
I was told about the clinic last year after seeing a so- called consultant here who said there was no good clinic in Germany and destroyed me with antibiotics.
I eventually got to bad sibling in July and had 3 weeks of treatment, hyperthermia and adjunctive treatments.
The doctors and nurses there were amazing, and I have received a full programme of after care and free zoom calls with my doctor there.I am still in recovery but it will take time. The clinic and the tremendous staff and treatments have given me a chance to get better and I can never thank them enough for their excellence and kindness whilst there and afterwards.
After the disgraceful treatment I have received in Ireland, going to bad aibling for treatment was a Godsend and I thank everyone there always.
With greatest sincerity,
Kieran.

Medical Condition Lyme

I took a chance going here and paid 20k. No real improvement and in fact believe I’m worse than when I went. The science makes sense and doctors were fine to deal with. The hyperthermia team is especially skilled I think.

Medical Condition Late Stage Lyme

St. Georg’s Klinic saved my life. I was cured of Lyme two years ago in 2019. Capable, intelligent, competent doctors and nurses gave me back my life.

The USA will let you die of Lyme. The doctors are criminal. Even years after I’m cured there are still phony “Lyme Literate doctors” in the USA stealing thousands of dollars a year from their Lyme patients all the while knowing there is a cure for Lyme in Germany which they deny to protect their market share. The doctors in the USA lie to patients to prevent them from going to Germany and being cured. They know nothing of the science or treatment in the USA. Again, they want to keep their Lyme patients sick and coming back for decades until they die. Do not listen to any doctor in the USA.

Go to Germany. Do not listen to the naysayers. St. Georg’s Klinic saves lives and cures Lyme. There are thousands of us cured of Lyme. Save your life.

Medical Condition Lyme Disease

I was recently treated for Lyme disease and co-infections at Klinik St. George. I spent 4 weeks as an in patient. When I arrived I was in bad condition, and due to the herx reaction, my condition continued to mostly be very bad during my visit. The doctors were very competent and continuously reassured me that I would be okay, and that they see many patients like me who go on to make a full recovery. One doctor in particular took the time to check up and speak to me daily, she always answered all of my questions and I never felt like she was in a rush to leave, Dr G. She is a star, she is the best doctor that I've had the pleasure to work with. She combines eastern, western and alternative medicine and is very knowledgeable. Not only did she help to take care of the physical aspects of the disease, she helped me with the psychological and emotion side. She constantly reassured me and told me that she was confident that I will get better due to my age, and other factors. They specialise in the first 2 week Lyme protocol, thing went smoothly and they were very professional, they could do it in their sleep. My only complaint with the co-infection treatment is that the doctor was at least 30 mins to 1 hour late every day for my 8am appointment, luckily most days it was my only thing scheduled in. The food was fine, facilities were also fine. It's too soon to say whether the treatment has been effective for me, I haven't even been home for 2 weeks yet and they say it normally takes a minimum of 4-6 weeks to notice an improvement as the body rests, detoxes and heals. Based on my experience, I'd recommend the clinic to people looking for treatment. I cannot comment on the effectiveness just yet but I'm hopeful.

My experience at the clinic was documented daily. For anyone who is interested on gaining some insight on a real experience (mine was particularly hard) they can see it here:
