Swiss Mountain Clinic

I have been to SMC 4-5 times. i can say the nurses are wonderful, and for the most part treatments are on point. The hospitality staff is great. The issue for any patient is navigating the pure incompetence of the administrative staff. You must deal with them before, during and after your stay. `I will spare the laundry list of things that sent me packing after 5 weeklong visits, but even the medical staff had an eye rolling attitude about the office staff. The final straw was that I needed a letter requested from my insurance company clarifying a point in the bill post stay. The admin staff sent alarm bells ringing and threats from my insurance co. on failure to disclose I had CFS. I have never HAD CFS. But their letter, which they had to retract almost cost me my insurance policy because it was written by a doctor who never examined me during that stay and said I had CFS. Then they wanted me to pay a consult fee for correcting the letter. This is the tip of the iceberg. If you had 30 minutes, I could recount endless (over) billing errors, confusion, poor scheduling, missed treatments etc. Dr Petra has a gift, but as the clinic has grown, (they solicited past patients for funding if you can imagine!?), she sees a handful of patients now. If you're not benefitting from her personally, don't get sidetracked to her daughter, who while pleasant, simply is not skilled. There are many clinics to find these same treatments with better support staff and administration.

I did and individualized Phoenix Program and 2 Inuspherese, it was absolutely intense, but I felt the benefits a couple of weeks after.
The team at the SMC is a wonderful and diverse big family and I was kindly taken to be part of it for 3 weeks in Nov 2021. I felt like the newborn everyone lovingly took care of its needs no matter what. They cheered up for me with positive energy during my challenging Biofilm Detox. Every single person was genuinely interested in my well-being and accompanied me along my path to health with warmth and kindness. Thank you all: the Reception, Administration, Sales, Secretary, Drugstore, Cleaning, Kitchen, Therapists and Nurses. I am very grateful for the amazing work and input from Dr. Jana Simon, and Amanuel who has angel hands for injecting. I feel intense gratitude to the amazing, knowledgeable and caring doctors Petra and Friderike Wiechel. I left with answers, new perspectives and a clear path to follow. May God bless and accompany you in the pursue of helping humanity.
Everyone does an excellent job, but I want to mention with special thanks the therapist Helma who really goes the extra mile in explaining, making you feel comfortable and excelling in service. Also offering an outstanding service provided with much love and care from the Kitchen the amazing Ildyko and Ilona. Petra has magic hands for healing with massage. Arminda with extra love and great service cleaning and providing for my room. To Juraiza, Mariam, Kasia, Mehdi and Annetta for making a great effort to work lovingly with my complicated veins.

M’y experience was good but the direct communication before arrival was very very slow same goes for the communication after departure for asking for my pending lab report they don’t answer. But doctor Petra and dr frederiqua are very very very professional and good and to be honest I was very sick and they healed me I feel much better , and the place is very peaceful and serene.finally the nurses also are very professional and nice though the load they have,, the food also is very simple and nice I never had any problem at all ,, the whole place is very clean

I wasn't well at the clinic for 12 out of 15 days, despite having a break from the chemo meds in preparation for the clinic's treatment. I often have breaks and they work well. The focus was on parasites which I was told caused the cancer. As a result I was given Frequency Therapy, a kind of shock treatment for parasites. During the 5th 70 minute session I vomited and was delirious for 3 hours. It was frightening. That was around 1.00pm. The doctor came 7 hours later to check on me and it took me 2 days to recover and I wondered if I would be able to travel home alone. My UK consultant did a blood test to check on one of the parasites and it wasn't present. I'm also checking whether I have a tape worm. I asked for a copy of the parasite test results and there wasn't one.
I went to the clinic with high hopes after being assured during a video call that they would be able to help. The key tumour marker was in the normal range before and now it's outside, which is upsetting. Plus, I had to give the clinic a budget after the first week's bill was much higher than anticipated. I also noticed a high figure on the bill for a treatment that was unsuccessfully attempted. I have asked for a refund for that, the parasite treatment and the parasite protocol that was very expensive. In any case I'm not well enough to take it in conjunction with chemo tablets. Tbe doctor said my appearance was deceptive, that I looked quite well, in a follow up email on my return. I would have thought with all their testing they understood how fragile I was. I'm still trying to make sense of the whole experience.

In conclusion, I dont think the SMC has any idea about secondary breast cancer with bone metastases. Their repertoire of treatments is focused on detoxing and writing all this has made me wonder why I went.
