About Care Oncology Clinic

The Care Oncology Clinic Protocol was designed to limit the ability of cancer cells to use energy (to metabolize).

The COC Protocol treats cancer cells by starving them of energy substrates. Weakening the cells makes them less resistant to radiation and chemotherapy. The COC Protocol may also create apoptosis (or “programmed death”). Cancer cells require enormous amounts of energy to survive. The COC Protocol may lower the overall metabolic rate of the cancer cell.

The COC Protocol makes Cancer cells less able and weaker to absorb and use nutrients such as glucose and essential amino acids glutamine and arginine.

Scientists created the COC Protocol for cancer patients. This multi-pronged approach is supported by peer-reviewed studies that support the efficacy and safety of specific treatments for patients with any stage or type of cancer.

The Care Oncology Protocol: Repurposed Drugs

The COC Protocol combines low doses of four repurposed drugs to target common pathways in cancer cells. The four drugs used in the protocol are:

  1. Metformin: a drug used to treat diabetes that can reduce insulin levels and inhibit cancer cell growth.
  2. Mebendazole: an anti-parasitic drug that has been shown to have anti-cancer properties in preclinical studies.
  3. Atorvastatin: a cholesterol-lowering drug that can also inhibit cancer cell growth and induce cancer cell death.
  4. Doxycycline: an antibiotic that can reduce inflammation and inhibit the growth of blood vessels that supply nutrients to tumors.

Medical Condition Breast cancer reoccurrence

I would give them a 0 rating if I could. I Signed up for Care Oncology in September 2023 and when I ran out of supplements I called Pharmacy Solutions to refill but was told Care Oncology no longer had a Dr who could write prescriptions for their CA patients! I tried calling them several times to no avail!
No one has ever returned my calls.
I paid $2,495.00 up front for services I will probably never receive. Please save your $$ and find a good naturopath!

Medical Condition Breast Cancer reocurring

I signed up with CareOncology in October of 2023. At first, I thought it would be good, but at my 3 month date, nobody got ahold of me for my blood work until 4 months had passed. Then they said they would be calling me to schedule a doctor appointment which never happened. They do not respond to emails and they do not answer the phone. Save yourself the $2495 and find a good functional doctor. I am getting all my prescriptions through my functional doctor and there is no need for CareOncology. They prescribe the same protocol for everyone.
