The ImPACT Program: Personalized Immunotherapy

Oasis of Hope’s signature ImPACT Program (Immune Personalized Autologous Cell Therapy) combines several advanced immune therapies designed to strengthen your body’s natural defense against cancer.

This personalized therapy uses your own immune cells, such as dendritic, NK, and LAK cells, which are trained and reactivated to better recognize and attack cancer cells. By combining these approaches, the program aims to create a stronger, more targeted immune response that supports your overall treatment plan.

Real Stories of Hope

Jerald Wilks | Oasis of Hope
“They gave me a death sentence. I chose something else.”

When Jerald Wilks was diagnosed with stage 3 pancreatic cancer, he was told he had only months to live. Two years later, after treatment at Oasis of Hope, he’s thriving, and sharing his story to inspire others.

Faith-Based and Emotional Support

Spiritual care is a daily part of life at Oasis. Patients are invited to join morning devotions, prayer, and music led by the hospital pastor, as well as optional Sunday worship services.

Emotional well-being is also supported through two group therapy sessions each week and individual counseling when requested. These services are provided at no additional charge.

Daily Life and Patient Experience

Life at Oasis goes beyond medical treatment. Patients often highlight the sense of community sharing meals, classes, and experiences with others on similar journeys. Education sessions are held Monday through Friday to help patients understand their therapies and adopt healthier lifestyle habits that continue after treatment.

Nutrition and Healing Foods

Healing foods are taken seriously at Oasis.

The hospital grows its own organic produce in a rooftop garden, and every meal is designed to be both beautiful and nourishing.

Chefs, all of whom are culinary school graduates, prepare three meals each day.

Patients also take part in hands-on cooking classes four times a week, learning from nutritionists and teaching chefs how to maintain a healing diet after leaving the hospital.

Aftercare and Home Protocol

When patients leave, they are provided with a three-month home treatment program that includes:

  • Ongoing follow-up calls with the medical team
  • Guidance on supplements, medications, and lifestyle steps
  • The option to return for re-evaluation when needed

This structured aftercare helps patients continue healing beyond their hospital stay.

For an in-depth explanation of the therapies we will recommend to you and the cost, please request a free treatment plan, and we will deliver it to you with a cost breakdown within 48 hours.

Yes, Oasis of Hope is a legitimate cancer treatment center with over 60 years of experience in integrative oncology. The hospital is licensed by the Mexican government and employs board-certified physicians. Treatments are grounded in both conventional science and evidence-informed complementary approaches, including immunotherapy, low-dose chemotherapy, metabolic therapy, and nutritional support. The center is also led by Dr. Francisco Contreras, a well-respected surgical oncologist and author who continues his father’s legacy of holistic cancer care.

God lead me to this clinic out of all of the clinics I researched because it has the dendritic cell vaccine and B17 Laetrile.
Also the testimony of people who went here and had gotten clean scans.
Leading up to coming here was hard emotionally and physically but as soon as I got there I knew it was the right place to be.

I have been delaying posting this review because they are nice people and mean well. BUT, they dropped the ball with my care in several different ways and I ended up being worse off. I don't know how they come up with their 'success rates.' I was a 'success' for a couple of months. 7 months later, I was in very bad shape. I regret going there.

Medical Condition Breast Ca

I initially thought Oasis was wonderful. Upon having a recurrence and experiencing how they managed it, I can not recommend Oasis.
First, I found out they did not do a biopsy/pathology on my tumor, which they told me before surgery was very important to do. It would tell us of clean margins and more details about type of cancer and how to treat. I did not know this was not done until asking for my surgical report and pathology. The surgical report said pathology was done, but it was not. They said there was not enough tissue, which was not true. They \"changed\" my surgical report after that in a couple of ways (not amended), making it more inaccurate.
They did not reach out to me to manage the reoccurrence, I had to pursue them. To manage they were going to \"watch it\" for 6 months and then do another vaccine. That is unheard of with an aggressive cancer.
I asked to meet with the CEO. It took about 6 months of trying. When I finally connected via email, he did not show up to the first scheduled meeting. When we did meet and next attempt, he acted concerned about the various things I presented and said he would investigate. He did not show up to the follow up meeting to discuss findings. I finally got an email from him with \"excuses\". The only Oncologist on staff is Dr Contrerares, who is near retirement. There is not good infrastructure, follow through, systems (there was no way to provide feedback or share concerns), etc. I do know they are in the midst of change, but I can not recommend them at this time with any serious condition. The reviews on google are likely accurate. Some people have been fortunate and have had a good experience..great! Many, many have not. Also, when they say their survivial rates.. I can testify that they do not follow up on patients, so I do not know how they are getting their numbers. So many patients did not go back due to a negative experience and some did not make it. Oasis made no efforts to contact them. They also do not do surveys. If you are thinking about going there is there survival rate number from who is alive when they leave the hospital? Ask, how do they get their numbers? Was it one study in which they gave those paitents good attention and follow through?

Medical Condition Urethral Carcinoma and Mestastatic Urthal Carcinoma in right Inguinal Lymph node

I was diagnosed with Urethral Carcinoma on Oct 19,2022 at MD Anderson. The result was surgery on May 5, 2023 to remove affected area.  I continued to go back for follow ups.  On Jan 9, 2024, I was diagnosed with Mestastatic Urethal Carcinoma found in  the right Inguinal Lymph node at MD Anderson.

We were provided with list of Chemo treatments to address, in fact a total of 4 different chemos. The outcomes was disastrous, and as you can imagine not much hope was offered.

We believe that we was directed by God to look elsewhere, thank goodness for a strong group of believers. We heard about Oasis of Hope from a friend, who  was there under going treatment. We submitted the data, I and my wife arrived at Oasis on Feb. 17,2024.

It was the very best decision I have ever made. For the first time in this journey I was not alone. The treatment and support offered by Oasis is light years beyond we have in the states when it concerns CANCER. From the doctors, nurses, techs, pastors, and all staff is fantastic.

The genuine care and compassion demonstrated by everyone at every level is every bit as important as the life saving treatment.

I am thankful for the prayers and relationships that are developed with others who are being treated. We become a family carrying one another sharing our experiences it too plays a crucial role in the process. Came home began the home treatment,  I had a visit to MD Anderson, a follow up, I was given a NED (No Evidence of Disease) for both Cancers.

I was not to sure about it, but Praise God, Oasis verified the diagnoses. I have NED (No Evidence of Disease). I continue to follow the program.  It has been a struggle at times especially the diet, BUT I chose to live and I have been blessed by God.

Medical Condition Mother had breast cancer

I began searching for an 'alternative' treatment plan as soon as I heard of my mom's diagnosis. I put alternative in quotes because the American chemo route was never a consideration for me. I knew there was better. I found a few that looked promising. Treatment facilities in California, Arizona, Florida, and Tijuana. Oasis in Tijuana offered things the others didn't. It was my first choice but I was concerned about it being in Mexico. After speaking with a heal navigator rep that had actually been there I decided that was the place. Prices were about the same so that wasn't a consideration. We flew into San Diego and the sent a car to drive us across the border, no passport needed for American/Mexican citizens.
To be transparent, my mom was too far into the end stages of liver failure to complete the whole treatment protocol but I would be back tomorrow if someone else I know had cancer. During my stay I learned a ton about the treatment. They provide classes explaining their therapy, both at oasis and at home. You can ask questions directly to doctors in these class. They also teach the importance of nutrition through cooking classes with the head chef and the nutritionist. Being a Christian facility , they provide worship and devotion every day.
This is not a traditional American hospital where everyone stays in their room and never talks to other patients. The mental and spiritual well being is a big part of the treatment and success. The patients were the ones that got me through the tough time when my mother passed.
I probably sound like the brochure, but everything on their site is true. I met several patients that were on their second visit for another round of vaccine. Their stories and progress were amazing. Some slow and steady. Others quicker. One woman went from the US doctors telling her she had very little time with a scan that looked like a Christmas tree. It had metastasised everywhere. Her second scan several months later was almost miraculous. Now the cancer is being reverse.
The treatment is not easy. It takes much dedication and commitment. Anything worth doing is that way. And it's not a go one time and you're done. They send you home with 3 months of their home treatment protocol. It's a process that is monitored by oasis. They may have you come back for another dendritic vaccine or recommend additional home therapies that can be done locally. They are great at working with you, changing things based on what you prefer, and how your body reacts.
The oasis protocol is the opposite of alternative in my mind. There is so much science and research behind what they do. The reason this treatment is not 100% legal in the US is less about its effectiveness and more about the process to get it approved.
Oasis gives patients their book undermining cancer. I read it during my stay and it would be a great resource if I was on the fence about traveling to oasis of hope.

Clean facility. Friendly, professional, knowledgeable, supportive, and respectful medical and ancillary staff. Super nutritious plant-based food. Daily Christian-faith based devotionals. Weekly educational presentations on cancer, treatments, nutrition, art. Meeting others going through similar trial was therapeutic. Completed first phase of treatment, e.g., 20-day inpatient. Gained strength and have gained 5 lbs. Prior to going to Oasis I was dropping pounds weekly for a total of 20 pounds in less than 6 months. Was weak and light headed. Now on home treatment program. No setbacks thus far. Praise God. Still keep in touch with patients we met at Oasis and look forward to seeing them again at Oasis in three months. Almost forgot, our trips with other couples to the beach and to the mall were also great.

Medical Condition Melanoma stage 3

I did a three week outpatient treatment. Took all of their treatments except the coffee enema. Couldn't accommodate for that because I didn't have a room.
The surgery listed below was to remove the melanoma site on my left calf and to biopsy my lymph glands in my left groin area. I requested that they take only the Sentinel lymph gland and leave the rest. Results have been very good; on my last pet scan it was gone.

It was welcoming and everyone was kind and respectful. From the moment you arrive you are taken care of. We had different classes we can attend on things to help you with your journey to wellness. Each morning at 10:00 am the pastor would come to the infusion room and sing, give a short sermon and pray. It was very uplifting and healing. You made friends and everyone shared their stories. We saw and heard stories of healing and met people from all over. We were at dinner one night and we prayed for someone about to have surgery. It did not matter what religion you were, everyone just joined together to pray. We would recommend this place to everyone.
