The ImPACT Program: Personalized Immunotherapy
Oasis of Hope’s signature ImPACT Program (Immune Personalized Autologous Cell Therapy) combines several advanced immune therapies designed to strengthen your body’s natural defense against cancer.
This personalized therapy uses your own immune cells, such as dendritic, NK, and LAK cells, which are trained and reactivated to better recognize and attack cancer cells. By combining these approaches, the program aims to create a stronger, more targeted immune response that supports your overall treatment plan.
Real Stories of Hope
“They gave me a death sentence. I chose something else.”
When Jerald Wilks was diagnosed with stage 3 pancreatic cancer, he was told he had only months to live. Two years later, after treatment at Oasis of Hope, he’s thriving, and sharing his story to inspire others.
Faith-Based and Emotional Support
Spiritual care is a daily part of life at Oasis. Patients are invited to join morning devotions, prayer, and music led by the hospital pastor, as well as optional Sunday worship services.
Emotional well-being is also supported through two group therapy sessions each week and individual counseling when requested. These services are provided at no additional charge.
Daily Life and Patient Experience
Life at Oasis goes beyond medical treatment. Patients often highlight the sense of community sharing meals, classes, and experiences with others on similar journeys. Education sessions are held Monday through Friday to help patients understand their therapies and adopt healthier lifestyle habits that continue after treatment.
Nutrition and Healing Foods
Healing foods are taken seriously at Oasis.
The hospital grows its own organic produce in a rooftop garden, and every meal is designed to be both beautiful and nourishing.
Chefs, all of whom are culinary school graduates, prepare three meals each day.
Patients also take part in hands-on cooking classes four times a week, learning from nutritionists and teaching chefs how to maintain a healing diet after leaving the hospital.
Aftercare and Home Protocol
When patients leave, they are provided with a three-month home treatment program that includes:
- Ongoing follow-up calls with the medical team
- Guidance on supplements, medications, and lifestyle steps
- The option to return for re-evaluation when needed
This structured aftercare helps patients continue healing beyond their hospital stay.
