The ImPACT Program: Personalized Immunotherapy

Oasis of Hope’s signature ImPACT Program (Immune Personalized Autologous Cell Therapy) combines several advanced immune therapies designed to strengthen your body’s natural defense against cancer.

This personalized therapy uses your own immune cells, such as dendritic, NK, and LAK cells, which are trained and reactivated to better recognize and attack cancer cells. By combining these approaches, the program aims to create a stronger, more targeted immune response that supports your overall treatment plan.

Real Stories of Hope

Jerald Wilks | Oasis of Hope
“They gave me a death sentence. I chose something else.”

When Jerald Wilks was diagnosed with stage 3 pancreatic cancer, he was told he had only months to live. Two years later, after treatment at Oasis of Hope, he’s thriving, and sharing his story to inspire others.

Faith-Based and Emotional Support

Spiritual care is a daily part of life at Oasis. Patients are invited to join morning devotions, prayer, and music led by the hospital pastor, as well as optional Sunday worship services.

Emotional well-being is also supported through two group therapy sessions each week and individual counseling when requested. These services are provided at no additional charge.

Daily Life and Patient Experience

Life at Oasis goes beyond medical treatment. Patients often highlight the sense of community sharing meals, classes, and experiences with others on similar journeys. Education sessions are held Monday through Friday to help patients understand their therapies and adopt healthier lifestyle habits that continue after treatment.

Nutrition and Healing Foods

Healing foods are taken seriously at Oasis.

The hospital grows its own organic produce in a rooftop garden, and every meal is designed to be both beautiful and nourishing.

Chefs, all of whom are culinary school graduates, prepare three meals each day.

Patients also take part in hands-on cooking classes four times a week, learning from nutritionists and teaching chefs how to maintain a healing diet after leaving the hospital.

Aftercare and Home Protocol

When patients leave, they are provided with a three-month home treatment program that includes:

  • Ongoing follow-up calls with the medical team
  • Guidance on supplements, medications, and lifestyle steps
  • The option to return for re-evaluation when needed

This structured aftercare helps patients continue healing beyond their hospital stay.

Is Oasis of Hope a legitimate cancer treatment center?
Yes, Oasis of Hope is a legitimate cancer treatment center with over 60 years of experience in integrative oncology. The hospital is licensed by the Mexican government and employs board-certified physicians. Treatments are grounded in both conventional science and evidence-informed complementary approaches, including immunotherapy, low-dose chemotherapy, metabolic therapy, and nutritional support. The center is also led by Dr. Francisco Contreras, a well-respected surgical oncologist and author who continues his father’s legacy of holistic cancer care.
How much does cancer treatment at Oasis of Hope cost?
The cost of cancer treatment at Oasis of Hope varies depending on the patient’s diagnosis and personalized treatment plan. However, most treatment programs range from $32,000 to $42,000 USD for an initial three-week inpatient stay. This includes accommodations, meals, and all core therapies. Additional costs may apply for follow-up care or specialized treatments. Heal Navigator patients may also be eligible for a program grant, available through our referral program.

Medical Condition Stage 3 Breast Cancer

No amount of words will ever be able to communicate how GREATLY BLESSED I was to have found this place 16 Years ago. I live in the United Kingdom and was diagnosed aged 60 with stage 3 Breast Cancer. I had the option of going through the conventional treatment of Chemotherapy, Radiation etc., but immediately rejected that, as I had seen the effect of conventional treatments on other People, like losing their Hair, feeling sick, lack of appetite, damage to their ' healthy cells ' etc. I was diagnosed in October 2003 and came to ' Oasis of Hope ' for the first time in January 2004, without having any other treatments. Having throughout my life being used to Alternative or Homeopathic treatments, the only slight hesitation that I had before coming to ' Oasis of Hope ' was the cost, bearing in mind that I would get the conventional treatments in the United Kingdom for ' free. ' Looking back over 16 Years, and having visited ' Oasis of Hope ' once or twice every Year since, I can categorically say that it is the BEST DECISION that I could possibly have made and the BEST THING that I have ever spent my Money on. Although it is impossible for the treatment to work in 100% of the cases, it has a VERY HIGH SUCCESS RATE, considering a large majority of Patients are either Stage 4 or have been told previously in their prospective Countries that there is nothing else that can be done to help them.
Having never been in a Hospital in a foreign country before, of course I was sceptical of what treatment I would receive and what the facilities would be like. On arriving for my first visit, I was immediately impressed by the external look of the Hospital and this was matched when I entered the Hospital. Although Tijuana gets a bad reputation, the Hospital area was VERY SAFE and the Mexican People are very friendly. For People who have never been there before, it is very hard to put SUCH A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE into words. The atmosphere and experience is something that I never ever expected, as it is SO SPECIAL and UNIQUE ( my Son, who comes as my Companion, and I regularly shed tears of sadness when we leave the Hospital after each visit. ) We have made FRIENDS FOR LIFE both with Staff Members and other Patients and Companions that we have met throughout the many Years that we have been going there.

Considering what I have been through over the Years, and the fact that I am now 76, I have a quality of life now that I could only have dreamed about 16 Years ago, and I put this down to one reason : the treatment / encouragement that I received from ' Oasis of Hope ' Hospital.

Medical Condition Breast cancer spread to lungs, innumerable nodules stage 4

One year later I am cancer free. I’ve had two pet scans completely negative of cancer. A year ago, upon discovery, I received one chemo treatment in Oaxaca City, México. Two weeks later, after deep soul searching and repentance and many many prayers from many many friends, the Lord Jesus touched me and His fire filled my chest. A week later my hair fell out and I received one more chemo treatment in Oaxaca City. The cancerous lump that had been in my left breast could no longer be felt by touch by my oncologist nor by my husband or myself. But the Dr insisted that the scheduled 8 chemo treatments would continue when I questioned him what the treatment would be now that the cancer mass was gone. While receiving the second treatment it became clear to me that the chemo treatment that killed my hair would continue to do more damage to my 71 year old body. Faith rose up in my heart and I signed out of the government provided cancer treatment program. I applied for the alternative treatment offered at the Oasis of Hope Hospital, Tijuana, MX and arrived for treatment a week later. There the Pet Scan revealed a small cancerous mass remaining on the bottom of my left Breast and four small nodules still in my lungs. The infusions, blood oxidation, diet, vaccination etc along with the prayers and excellent atmosphere of the Oasis of Hope Hospital cleared up the cancer deposits within six months. The recent pet scan, one year later is negative. We have the highest respect for the Drs and staff of Oasis. Two days after arriving in the hospital my husband had a vision of a portal open to heaven in this place. Later upon hearing the story of Dr Ernesto Contreras being commissioned by God to find a cure for cancer we understood the spiritual battle involved. Our respects and gratitude to this wonderful hospital and staff. I have never lost strength or focus but am able to continue in our calling as missionaries in southern Mexico. Glory to God! I must confess it is rather a challenge to keep taking the multitude of pills every day. Am looking forward to being released from these Drs orders.

Medical Condition Hodgkin's Lymphoma

My experience with the Oasis of hope Hospital was amazing to say the least. In 2015 I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Having some knowledge of their alternative approach, I went there immediately. The staff, doctors, nurses were all very friendly, knowledgably and helpful. Language was not a barrier. The facility is excellent. Clean and well maintained. The treatments are administered with skill and care. The Doctors were willing to spend adequate time to be sure you understand every aspect of your treatment. I always felt like I was very important. The spiritual aspect was the icing on the cake. Someone always available for prayer or counsel. It will soon be 5 years in total remission. What a blessing to be able to go to such a place for treatment. The Oasis of Hope is rightly named for that is indeed what they offer, hope for life.

Medical Condition Triple Negative Breast Cancer

I had an amazing experience at Oasis of hope hospital. From day one, the moment me and my companion arrived at the airport and up to the day we left. The humanity, love and care surrounded us from all staff members at the hospital. From the cleaning and maintenance, concierge, nurses, doctors and up to the Director, manager and chairman of the hospital, Dr Francisco Contreras. I don't have enough words to describe my feelings, but all my fears and questions were answered on the very first day, and through all the three weeks we were there. The staff caring, love and professional treatment was really amazing. I am now mid treatment and under their care and tight follow up even though I live far away from the hospital, but I feel I am in good hands. I would very much recommend to get there before any chemotherapy or radiation or other treatment done. In my opinion it will benefit the efficacy of the treatment done there. I also want to thank each and every one of the hospital's staff for their help.

Medical Condition Pancreas cancer stage 4

My husband was treated for pancreas cancer and was clean for 9 months, but then the cancer came back with a diagnose of pancreas cancer stage 4. The oncologist offered chemotherapy. For 4 years we tried different chemotherapies and he was responding well, until it stopped working.
My son did all the research and found oasis hospital. We sent all his medical records and the hospital advised us to come. They picked us up from the airport and we arrived to the hospital. It was like staying in a 5 stars hotel!. Very clean and nice. You don't feel like a patient. There is a nice restaurant you can dine in or have the meal in your room.
We spent 3 weeks at the hospital and met many people that were cancer free. People from all over the world.
Unfortunately, it was all too late for my husband. He was very weak by the time we got there. It still made him feel good though. Especially the hyperthermia.

Medical Condition Stage 4 Colorectal Cancer mets to Liver

I arrived at OASIS in October 2017 for an initial 3 week treatment (2 weeks oxidative treatment, 1 week Cell therapy vaccine. Accommodation on site is very good. Treatment facilities were of a high standard. The various treatments keep you busy most days. The 3 meals a day are great and of high standard. I was provided a timetable on the 1st or 2nd day and had a few meetings with the Doctors along the way with a final meeting before I left to discuss a plan moving forward. A take home plan including Nutraceuticals etc is given to you before you leave. Overall I had a great experience at this clinic.

Can you share any important tips for anyone considering this clinic?

Great clinic, only con would be to make sure you or your carer has an idea of whats planned for you on the various days, just so you don't miss out. At the end of the day you need to be aware of whats going on treatment wise, thats all. Not such a major concern.
