This isn't one of those reviews where I was asked to give one. I just genuinely think anybody who needs help should know where they can go to get it. Dr. Jacobs is the real deal. Can't recommend his practice enough. Went a couple years back and had a major improvement in overall health and even got me through a pretty debilitating illness. Fast forward 2 years later, started experiencing some strange mystery symptoms and had tied another functional medicine doctor for reasons of travel convenience... BIG MISTAKE. Had caught on that the new ND I was seeing wasn't as competent or could deliver on getting to the cause of new and serious health concerns. Going back to Dr. Jacobs, He thoroughly reviewed prior treatment and identified several MAJOR gaps in the diagnostic work that had been done. Super sharp, methodical, very experienced, and takes the time to break down the "why" of the treatment plan, diagnostic tests and what is happening in the body. He is balanced and discerning when it is appropriate to prescribe prescription drugs when they are needed and always in conjunction with lifestyle and nutritional changes that actually treat and address the root cause behind the illness. At the end of the day, I'm not a doctor and you're probably not one either but as a patient, being afforded the luxury of informed treatment and medical rationale is nice and unfortunately, in my experience, quite rare. Fortunately with Dr. Jacobs, I feel informed and equipped to work in partnership with a first-rate medical expert vs. having to deal with dismissive and arrogant checklist Doctors who care little more beyond lining their pockets with your cash and getting you out the door as fast as they can so they can 'rinse and repeat'. Learned my lesson. Dr. Jacobs is my guy. To the point, I'm willing to drive an hour+ to get to his office. If you're looking for a Doctor of Functional Medicine, I sincerely think you should start here.

I very much enjoy Dr Jacobs. He has helped me tremendously with every health concern I brought to his attention. If you are like me and try to solve health issues primarily on a natural path, he is definitely the Dr for you. He isn't afraid to go the RX route if he feels the benefits outweigh the potential side effects.

Dr Jacobs has been helping me manage my health by monitoring by blood chemistry every 6 months. I have using Biorestoration for over 12 years. Dr. Jacobs is a special kind of health care professional. He understands way more than most MD's and has a bedside manor that all doctors could learn from. He is incredibly knowledgable, patient, and kind - a rare find in the medical industry. As a snowbird, I was able to work with him personally while in town and still coordinate care with him via phone and email when away. He was particularly helpful in coordinating with other health care professionals as needed. I always trusted his advise foremost due to his thorough explanations and current and well researched opinions.
