All programs include a period of “Aftercare” where guests continue to stay connected with their Sanoviv medical team from home. For example, the 3-week Cancer Treatment Program includes a full year of Aftercare, featuring unlimited questions by email or phone, and up to eight scheduled phone consultations with the doctor or nutritionist. Upon completion of the program, patients receive a personalized “home program” with instructions on how to continue their healing at home.

Ramses Ortega MD, Integrative Oncologist and Surgical Specialist
Dr. Ramses Ortega graduated with the highest GPA in the history of Centro de Estudios Universitarios Xochicalco. He completed his internship and a four-year general surgery residency at Sonora State General Hospital in Hermosillo, followed by an Oncology residency at Mexico City General Hospital—one of the country’s leading cancer treatment centers.
Dr. Ortega is passionate about integrative cancer care, combining advanced medical treatments with whole-body approaches. He is actively involved in developing immunotherapies and alternative protocols, and is one of Mexico’s most experienced specialists in performing biopsies, cancer surgeries, and minimally invasive options like nanoknife and cryotherapy.

In January 2022 I went to Sanoviv for the cancer program. Upon arrival I was in rough shape, barely having enough strength to walk. At the end of the first week I was able to climb 5 flights of stairs no problem, and my overall health improved dramatically. My digestion, sleep, energy, pain, blood counts, and scans all improved during my stay at Sanoviv. By the time I left after 3 weeks, I felt like a whole new person and had recovered over 10 pounds of lean body mass that was lost from chemo treatments. And best of all I was free of any cancer. My doctor in the states claimed I wouldn't last more than a few months if I didn't follow through with his 8 month chemo and BMT regimen. Here I am 3 months post Sanoviv back to a full normal life with nothing holding me back. Many of the patients I met during my stay experienced similar results as well.
Summary: Sanoviv and Dr. Ramses saved my life
I went there after being told surgery wasn't possible. Dr. Ramses did the surgery, and successfully. I'm out pain, sleeping through the night, happy, and healthy. The fist sized breast tumor, cancerous lymph nodes, and skin mets are all gone. No new tumors. 4 of the 6 bone mets are gone. The other 2 are healing.
The level of care I received there was excellent. It is a combination of western and alternative medicine in a safe, clean, healthy, happy environment.

We went to Sanoviv in 2009. They met us in San Diego and drove us to Sanoviv. On our way home, even supplied us with lunch. The facility is simple and beautiful. Oceanview. They had pools, classes, doctors, many different programs to help with whatever condition people needed help with.
The food is amazing and geared for each individual.
I highly recommend Sanoviv whether one is sick or healthy and wants to stay that way.
My experience: In a nutshell, I am alive, currently have no evidence of disease, and I am feeling very well. This is huge since in Dec. 2017, I had surgery to remove s cancerous tumor at a major, well know clinic here in the states. They did not remove the tumor, but closed me up and sent me home to get my affairs in order.
I went to Sanoviv and had the same surgery on January 8, 2018. The tumor was successfully removed. I was given both western medicine treatment as well as alternative treatments. .... all in a beautiful atmosphere of healing so unlike hospitals in the US. The fresh air, spacious rooms, amazing healthy food, all contribute to the positivity. Caring medicine is practiced here.
The follow up with their “aftercare” program really helps to bridge the transition back into western medicine. It has been a real factor in my ongoing success to become healthy again. Sanoviv does not advertise because they don’t need to.
It is truly a world class healing center with patients from all over the world.
They do a lot of adjuvant therapies, oxygen, vit c, curcumin, the chiropractor is excellent, they have a good psychologist, 6 pools [those were great for me as I am a water baby and exercise for me means- water]. You can receive all school medicine treatments there too.
Can you share any important tips for anyone considering this clinic?
It is very expensive 35k for 3 weeks, most of those adjuvant therapies can be had elsewhere cheaper. They charge $600 per room.....basically if you think the more "alternative" orientation leads to less greed you are mistaken. In addition, the food there and how it is served is only good for true believers.
It was beyond horrible. The doctor accepted me with an aggressive triple negative cancer and they didn't have a protocol for it. After they took most of my money on 'tests' they sent me home to do chemo. They put my life at risk and drained my bank account. The director told me as I checked out that no one survives this. I just had a lumpectomy with clear margins, 1 year later. Their ability to work with people with illness is very limited and they should not be offering themselves as a cancer center. They put you though endless treatments all day that are aimed at relaxing but not for cancer. They don't let you leave the property and they don't put drapes on the bedroom windows. They say it is for organic reasons, but they put you in a room with tons of computers and synthetic blankets for treatments... The nutrition staff is very inept as was the therapy aspect of it. They offer Reflexology and no one is actually trained in it... very low integrity.
Completed 3 weeks cancer treatment. This included IVs of vitamin C, amgidalon, homeopathic detox and glutathione. Hyperbaric O2, no sugar diet, energy medicine, chiropractic care, massage, meditation, psychology sessions, lab tests and blood work and I am sure I have forgot a few others.
Can you share any important tips for anyone considering this clinic?
Have an open mind regarding the energy medicine. It is not cheap. $35000 (including the RGCC test) for 3 weeks. But it worked for me. I had a CTC count of 9.7 when I went in and zero when I got out. They are spiritual there. All prayer is welcome.
The overall care far exceeds any care you receive at oncology groups in the US. The wide range of tests to determine the root cause of the cancer is so much more extensive than anything provided in the US. I would not recommend Mexico clinics in general, but Sanoviv was founded and is still under the direction of Myron Wentz, a US, world-renowned scientist who has devoted his life to improving the health of everyone.
